What are the benefits of attending Forest School?

Forest School helps children develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and emotional resilience. It encourages physical activity, creativity, and social skills while providing a rich sensory experience that traditional classrooms can’t offer.

What should my child wear and bring to Forest School?

Children should wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing that can get dirty. Sturdy footwear, a hat, and a waterproof jacket are recommended. We also suggest bringing a water bottle, sunscreen, and insect repellent.

What happens in case of bad weather?

We believe there is no bad weather, only inappropriate clothing. Sessions continue in most weather conditions, but in the event of extreme weather, we will notify parents of any cancellations or rescheduling.

What measures do you take to promote environmental sustainability?

We teach and practice environmental stewardship, encouraging children to respect and care for nature. Activities include recycling, composting, and learning about local ecosystems.

Do you have to be specially trained to run Forest School?

Yes, running a Forest School requires specialized training. Our qualified Forest School leader is fully qualified. This ensures that our programs are delivered with the highest standards of safety, education, and outdoor learning practices.

How can I get involved or support Ecolia Forest School?
